Hi everyone! 👋
I’m Simon Brown, the Regional STEM Lead for North West as part of Big Bang at Schools. My role is to support schools and educators in delivering incredible STEM experiences that inspire young people and showcase the exciting possibilities of STEM careers.
I’m passionate about [briefly share your passion for STEM, e.g., empowering the next generation of innovators, making STEM accessible to all, or fostering creativity through science and technology. I have been teaching for 10 years in both Art, Design and Technology and Engineering teaching across KS3, 4 and 5. I have also been a Teacher Co-ordinator for the Royal Academy of Engineering, disseminating STEM resources in the Manchester (North-West) region. I’m here to help you bring the Big Bang at School to life, whether that’s through event ideas, connecting with industry experts, or sharing resources.
I’d love to hear about your plans, ideas, and any challenges you might be facing as you prepare for your Big Bang at School events. Let’s use this forum to share tips, success stories, and opportunities to collaborate. Together, we can create unforgettable experiences for students in our region!
Feel free to reach out or tag me with any questions or to share your updates. Let’s make this year’s Big Bang at Schools bigger and better than ever! 🚀
Looking forward to working with you all!
Simon Brown
