STEM Learning has created an incredible offer for Portsmouth teachers over the next few years. They will be investing firstly in an ‘ENTHUSE on tour’ programme whereby the team from the York STEM Learning Centre will be coming down to Portsmouth to deliver a bespoke programme of support for our local KS1/KS2 teachers. The training will be hosted at Portsmouth UTC and each school that signs up will have the opportunity to attend 2 full days of professional learning. This is fully funded so there is no course cost, schools just need to release the teacher for the day.

This comes at a time when we need to be innovative and look for opportunities to enhance our curriculum to prepare our learners for future jobs that may not even exist yet. Hear more about the importance of Practical Learning from Professor Bill Lucas here.

Following on from this opportunity, there will be future opportunities for schools to be involved in a fully funded 2-year CPD programme which funds a variety of professional learning courses which we can access through our local Science Learning Partnership.
